  • reasons to debrief: build a stronger team -- let go of stress or trauma before it gets chronic -- discover hidden stress or trauma -- get other perspectives on the day -- be better able to self-support -- be better able to support each other

  • do it every night, no matter how chill the day was -- at least with your buddy, before going to sleep

  • it's a de-brief! -- keep it brief!

  • one at a time -- no discussion, questions, responses while debriefing

  • low point / high point

  • end it by thanking your buddy -- if debriefing whole team, facilitator / team leader ends it by thanking team
